The North Columbia Monthly, published by Steve and Karla Rumsey with lots of help from our partners and friends, covers all aspects of North Columbia Country: history and natural history, arts and culture, community events and more. Founded in 1994 by Mark Harrison and Tina Cummings, the magazine covers Stevens, Ferry and Pend Oreille counties in Northeastern Washington, from the Spokane River north to the Canadian border, and from the Okanogan east to the Idaho panhandle.

Our visitor guides, the website northeasternwashington.com and our print publications in the Your Getaway Guide series, provide travel and recreation information to residents and visitors alike.

Since our publications are free to readers -- they are funded by our advertisers -- we encourage readers to support the businesses which advertise with us.
